What happened to my anemone?

Okay so at like 2 today my anemone was perfectly fine with a small mouth and nothing looked wrong then at like 3 I noticed his tentacle deflated and his mouth was huge like his whole body is ishis mouth! I know they get like that when the discrete waste but I didn't think it would be that big!

Do you have a picture of it from before? (( having a hard time telling what species it is from the one picture ))

In the meantime;

What size tank?
What lights?
How long have you had the anemone?
How long has the tank been set up?
What are your current water parameters --- with numbers please.

It's a bubble tip and ph is 8.3 nitrite 0 nitrate 10 ammonia 0 it's in a 55 gallon it's been setup a year and t5 lights I've had him for about a month or 2

Don't worrie, did you just put it in your tank? These things have a tendency to act out when they are uncomfortable, worrie when it melts. It will string out with white stuff then dissolve. Keep an eye on it, but it might come back

Yeah its mouth seems very turned out. My anemones deflate once every few days and spits out brown stuff. They reinflate within the hour. If it takes all day to go back to normal. Then watch it closely

anems dont have anus, so the eat during the day (fish food or whatever) and when they excrete, they puke it out, almost turning inside out. My Rose does that every time, a day or so after I feed it a silverside.
