What happened to my favia

Anyone have any idea? It started out as some brown growth coming from inside the coral....I moved it to quarantine as I was afraid of cyano. It's only been getting worse...

looks like brown slime disease.
cut the infected area away

Thats interesting.....its been getting much worse and now is white

you need to cut it away, it will just spread and kill the colony
