OK. Let's try this. What is your stocklist? Please include inverts that you know of as well as any knowledge of aggression. Of course, that's only if you want to know who did it, or why it happened. We need information to help

3 hermit crabs ,2 snails , 1 pistol shrimp and 1 maroon clownfish

You may want to consider treatment with antibiotics if he doesn't start to heal up in the next couple days. Kanaplex or Furan 2 are my meds of choice and should be done in a QT for best results.

I agree. Even my juvenile percula clown has taken a chunk out of my yellow watchman goby's dorsal fin before. Luckily it wasn't deep and it grew back.
