About week ago i saw bubble in my frogspawns until now, that bubble still there. Is that brown jelly disease? Or i recently searching for info, maybe that splitting. Idk, how do you think about it? The other coral seems like normal to me, btw im newbie, this is my first reef tank, and running about 2month now. Thx

hi beautiful reef,i do not see bjd, poss sting from lobo? flesh tear? keep eye on,bjd looks like a brown gel, then remove and dip, best wishes
and , welcome to the reef:)

That’s an octo spawn but a bubble on the mouth would be an indication of the head about to split. But I do see tissue recession

Can it recover tissue recession? I been dosing redsea ab+ daily about 2ml and give it reefroid about once a week, and water change about 15% weekly. Can it help recover tissue recession?

hi,watch your levels, new tank,if seems like recession is getting any worse than dip in iodine based coral dip, rinse with tank water before putting back,if not getting worse leave be :)

Hmmm... I have coral dip "revive" can it be used for that?
DO NOT DIP-
Its not disease and will disrupt activity of splitting. Euphyllia do this when they typically split a head. It starts with a bubble, then you'll see a clear division, then suddenly the bubble will deflate and you'll see 2 mouths forming where the bubble was. I have seen them split heads in this manner and swell also in splitting

Ok i will wait n see, but today the bubble became smaller. Thx for your information

If its deflating, the split either occured OR aborted.
