Purchased this Tyree LE Montipora undada and I placed it on the bottom of the tank on its side just to acclimate it and I noticed now three days later it is white all around the edges so I moved down to the sand bed is this from lack of light?

Doubtful it's from lack of light in three days. More likely something's off in the water.

or too much light since the good side seem to be shaded ? cant tell from pic
also what's your water param?

For some reason I have extremely low alkalinity it’s 7.4 not really sure how to raise it without going too much at once I have never dosed but I have two part B ionic

7.4 isn't extremely low. I know some reefers with SPS dominant tanks that prefer to keep theirs around that for more color (but slower growth.) If it wasn't acclimated properly and came from a higher Alk tank then that could cause it - but so could many other things. We would need more info to even take a stab at it. Lights, tank parameters, etc
