Yesterday I added a Red Toothed trigger. Everything appeared to be fine. I went to bed and woke up today. First I can’t find the red toothed trigger and I found my sail fin like this. I’ve never seen a fish like this. Is this normal I didn’t see any bit marks or any physical trauma.

please let me know

Postmortem colors can be much different than alive. As oxygen in the tissue depletes, tissue darkens.

Not sure if you have a QT procedure or not, if not you should definitely follow the sticky in the Fish Disease Treatment and Diagnosis page. As for what happened, the pic doesnt really tell much but from my experience fast acting diseases such as brooke and velvet have killed some of my fish in less than 24hrs.
