I remember reading about someone that had an Acan with Brown Jelly. He dipped it in Iodine then covered the damaged tissue with super glue gel. He said it acted as a bandaid, allowing the coral to repair its tissue. After a few weeks, it eventually "shed" the dry glue and was fine.
