Biggest frag shipment was 43 frags. A mix of SPS, LPS, and softies. I don't recommend it, it was a long process to acclimate, quarantine, and safely place everybody.

last november/december was my first exposure to live sales (got back into the hobby at the start of the year so i was itching to start stocking my 180G tank).

i must have ordered about 24 frags on my very first sale. lots of fun but a little too addictive ... the wallet will stay closed this go-around. <grin>

i did make things easier by unpacking & dipping the frags in large batches.

Number wise.... mid 30s: won't do that again, as mentioned above, its a real pain in the tookus trying to acclimate and situate that many at once. Guess thats why you see a lot of LFS do the dump and pray!

Not my biggest, but here's an order I got from a Fraghouse Corals live sale a while back.

You must of bought it all I just checked the website and they were sold out!

Ditto on the 30 piece...I did a 25 piece pack one time and it was a stressful nightmare getting them acclimated and in the tank. I didn't have a frag tank at the time which made life worse. Never again!

17 corals, a powder blue tang and longnose butterflyfish delivered in one day. I didn't mind the acclimating and dipping so much. It was actually cutting all the frag plugs and gluing 17 corals in the tank that took forever.

Super happy with both shipments. I’ve gotten expensive zoas/palys from other vendors and they were never as large or as many polyps. Would definitely recommend doing business with either vendor. I’ll post pics once they all settle in a bit more.

10 is the most I want to deal with at once. Mostly 3-4 at a time from shows. Try not go over $300 am order...try the operative word
