What has been your biggest regret in reef-keeping?

This is a tough question, but what has been the biggest regret you've got in the hobby? Maybe it was a purchase you didn't make. Maybe it was that one thing you tried that backfired. Maybe it was the mistake you made that caused a catastrophe. What was it?

My biggest regret was when I had my thriving 180 and I decided to add my 3 last fish...without quarantining...and they introduced velvet which caused mass death and tank crash. That was back some years, but still my biggest regret. What's yours?

Buying a 120 gal tank, should have went BIGGER!!!

Too small of tank! Should had just started at 1000 gallon lol

Probably buying sub-par equipment over the years trying to save money. Normally ended up causing me more in the long run.

My biggest regret was giving up the previous 3 times I have undertaken the hobby. While I miss having a tank, the main thing I missed out on was the friends I made both on forums like this and those who I met in real life and shared my passion with. I don't think I have had any other hobby that has given that to me!
