What has happened to PE mysis?

PE mysis used to be a light gray and very clean but for the last year ago(at least in the cubes) it's brown and seems much more "mushy" than it used to be. Have they changed sources/packaging or what?

I've wondered if it's my retailer letting it thaw and refreeze but I've bought from several and it all looks the same. Has anyone else noticed this?

Sounds like it got thawed out and re-frozen. My last flat, @ 2 mths. ago, was pretty white and wasn't cloudy when I thawed it out for feeding.

I havn't noticed anything either, but I buy the flat packs. Yeah it sounds like your stuff was thawed as mentioned above.

I have noticed this too. I have purchased from three different suppliers, including an online retailer. I first thought that it was thawed and refrozen, but they are all the same color and the one from a major online retailer came frozen solid. I buy flat packs and also tried the cubes, same thing.

I noticed a dramatic difference in the amount in each cube lately. It used to fill my tank and give a good minute or two feeding... no changes to my tank..and now its gone in 10 seconds..like theres half the amount in the cube and rest filler.
Anyone else notice this?

I noticed my fish stopped eating it so I switched to rods. Tried to feed them pe again and they weren't having it also tried LRS but they wanted nothing to do with that either so I just use rods now.
