It's hard to see but he has one white spot at the bottom corner of the top fin. I just brought him home yesterday and he is in quarantine. Have started to treat with copper.

Tough to see, could just be Lymphocytis. What copper are you using and what is the current level?

Hi Jay,
Thanks for getting back. He has just a tiny white dot right at the corner of the fin. After taking a video to the gurus at my LFS, they suggested Paraguard, but we didn't think of Lymphocytis. I pulled out the Cupramine after talking to Seachem. The chromis is very active today but doesn't want to eat. The water turned cloudy, don't know why, and I have put in some carbon and poly filter. Maybe I should get him to eat and then treat with Paraguard again? Or if it is Lymphocytis, I read there is no treatment. In that case, any recommendations? Should I return him to my LFS? @jayhemdal

Why did Seachem say to remove the cupramine? Paraguard is a poor second choice to Cupramine for protozoan issues, I've stopped using it in marine systems altogether.

The "not feeding" is a symptom I wasn't aware on - that and the cloudy water need to be the focus; damselfish will almost always feed well unless they are very sick, the water is in poor condition, or the food you are trying isn't appropriate.

What food are you feeding?
Does the fish show any interest in the food?
What are your water quality parameters? (especially pH and ammonia).

Hi Jay,
Water parameters are fine and it has cleared up. He has been a picky eater and I bought some frozen mysis shrimp which he is eating now. I am going to see how things go as he very active and seems fine. He probably has the Lymphocytis. Thanks for your help! @jayhemdal
