What have you done to your system today?

Tried to do a little adjusting to my aquascape. An hour later, a big mess, and a dozen knocked off coral frags I ended up with almost the exact same thing lol. Glued my frags back, and did a water change, and cleaned my skimmer, and power heads.

I haven't done anything to my tank lately. While I was gone to China it turned into a caulerpa forest. Apparently there was a tiny bit of the stuff in there before I left and my roommate doesn't know anything about reefs so she didn't know to pull it out. It's all over the sand and on a bunch of the rocks. I'm totally taking the tank down and keeping these rocks in the dark.

Saturday cut the stems off some frag plugs/ frags and mounted to rocks. Sunday water change, piping cleaned, protein skimmer cleaned and refuguim cleaned out. also mounted reverse osmosis/deionization system mounted in the laundry room.

Payed for my mistake lol. Changed the elbow on my return a few weeks ago due to a crack. Well I forgot to drill a hole in it. Today shut the system down to do a little cleaning and walked off to gather a few cleaning items. Walked back into the room and found about 15 gallons had drained from the 90 gallon tank. So I spent the day firstly drilling a hole in the elbow. Then cleaning up tons of water. Fun, Fun, Fun.

Weekly water change and maintenance (filter floss, skimmer cup, course filter change). Also fixed the cabinet so the glass will actually stay in!

Cleaned the glass, some of the substrate (next to glass), cleaned the skimmer compartment/skimmer and pump (monthly gunk removal), 5 gal water change and fended off vicious clownfish whom most of you know his name from the meeting......but will just post his initials YLS! :angel:

Water changes tonight! With a drink...which seems to happen every time I do a water change...which can make things a bit messier than need be haha. Also added a black barred convict goby last weekend I believe, likes to hide a lot and when I do see him is always upside down under am overhang or in a cave. Thats about all today.

Time to bump this back up, today I cut a few frags zoa frags. Also I got in several new items. 2 new chalices, 3 new zoas, 2 new acans, and a new leptoseris. Pretty good day in my book!
