What heater for IM25 Lagoon Tank???

I am going to be setting up a 25 fusion lagoon tank from Innovative Marine and just wondering what kind of heater I should put in there? The tank just barely reaches 12 inches tall, so I figured a 100w eheim jager wouldn't fit in there since its 12.5 inches long. I was thinking maybe 2 of the 50w models instead since they are only 9.5 inches long could just put them side by side.

However, this costs more than just one so it would be like $50 instead of $25 for the same power, so maybe there is another option out there for this kind of tank? Does anybody have this specific tank and could let me know what heater has been working good for them?

I’m running a single 50 watt on my 25 lagoon. It’s in one of the second chambers. My small apartment is usually around 70 degrees. I’ve only got some macro, live rock, and a gorilla crab in there. They all seem ok. If you want to be exact, get a controller. Setting the eheim heaters are weird, but when set up right, they’re great. It’ll shut two of them on and off and save you from cooking a small tank. With a little bit of rock in the lagoon “25” you’re down to about 15 gallons. The pump or pumps alone will do a good job of heating a small volume of water.

Hmm yeah I'm wondering whether to get this finnex 100w I found or to get two of the 50w eheim's. But yeah definitely looking into getting the inkbird controller!

Nice. Picking equipment is tough. Sounds like you’ve got a good plan either way.
