What heck are these?

Please see photos. There are hundreds of them. Probably 3-5mm in length with a clove type polyp on top. Vast majority in shaded areas, none in direct light.

Pineapple sponges and a good sign of water quality and are safe filter feeders

Never had anything feed on them and never looked into it. I know they are good to have around since they do filter your water.
