What I’m the world?

Just found this insect looking creature chilling on my MP40 foam guard? I’m not sure if he flew into the tank from the room (although I don’t k ow how it would survive on the tank) or of its a hitchhiker. Any clues?

I’d say it’s a Land bug trying to mUtate into a aquatic bug but failed. I have to be honest it bugs me.
