Looks almost like a type of anemone? Slightly smaller than pencil eraser. Has extended its "arms" a bit in the bowl I rinsed the gracillaria in (sorry for title flub).

Agree- majano anemone. Some people love them due to their colors while they are similar in nature to aptasia.
If you decide to keep it, carefully scrape/peel off and drop into tank. If not - smother with kalkwasser mixed into a pate onto center of it and it will melt away
 
Thanks for the help. I kept it in a baggie floating until I was sure what it was and then froze it (hopefully a gentle death!). Had an aiptasia outbreak once - do not want to go through that again! The pics under aquarium light clenched the majano ID.
