What in tarnation is this thing LoL

Hello Every one. Got a quick question . I found this thing Sticking out of one of my zoanthids.
is this a bad hitchhiker or am i in the clear? Just need to know if screwed or not haha!

Possibly an aptasia? Hard to tell but looks similar from the silhouette. Google aptasia and see if it looks the same?

Amphipod and a big one. I personally would pull the zoa if possible slowly a,d try to exit frag from tank and place it in freshwater allowing the pod to swim off and return zoa to tank. Just a little too big and will irritate zoa if it make frag its' home

Ah, yes you’re right, just zoomed in on the knife pic. Previously only looked at the zoa pic. Got a mandarin? Looks like a tasty treat for one if you do

Curious - what is the first picture - maybe I'm blind - but I have no clue what is in the first picture - something is covered by writing? The second with the Zoas it looks kind of like it could be a number of things - did you cut it out? (I think I would)

Didnt see the other answer - probably an amphipod - but still curious - what is the first picture supposed to show?

The first pic the amphipod is against the blade part of the knife

Its not aptasia, Id prefer that haha. Its a shrimp of some kind or invert.

I took the zoa out and did a little coral dip, litteraly 5 seconds later the sucker swam out. It was right in between the heads. I was doing my daily inspection and noticed these two little antenna things sticking out of it. Upon closer inspection its a invert of some kind. Hoping its a (amphipod)

Haha I dont have a mandarin yet but hes the next fish i buy haha!
