What in the heck is this

This is in my 24 gal reef. I have no idea what it is. It’s super pretty but I didn’t buy it.

Looks to be some form of bubble algae. Really pretty. Looks like an Easter egg. looks like some smaller ones on the ledge below as well.

Ya there’s 3 or 4 of em. They look way pretty. Just never seen em before.

Ya that is what it looks like when I google red bubble algae. Shoot. Better kill it now before it gets outta hand

Any luck killing that red bubble algae?

I’ve some on a frag that I have scraped off and it just grows back! Even soaked in peroxide/salt mix.

I just upgraded my 24 all in one into a cube 50 Gal. As I was switching over I carefully cleaned off the infested rock in a separate bucket. The new setup has been running for a week and I haven’t seen it back so far. I think the biggest thing is like with the green bulb algae is to not let it pop in your tank so it will spreed. I did do a couple spots with a siphon hose as I did a water change.
