What is this? It has coreline algae growing on it and it itself has grown over the last couple of weeks.

Don't pop it.
I also don’t have that beautiful frag tank, so sucks to be me I guessI was about to turn my grandmaster algae farmer title over to you.

This is what I said until my emerald crabs pop them to eat them.Don't pop it.
Good to know for the future. ThanksThis is what I said until my emerald crabs pop them to eat them.
Some say don't pop others say whatever is inside will likely end up filtered out.
Many opinions.
There are a couple ways to deal with bubble algae. The first is manual removal. There is a theory that when popped the spores inside the bubble travel around the tank and create more. If you cannot remove the frag or rock from the tank the best way to remove manually is to turn all flow off in the tank get your siphon hose right next to the bubble and gently with tweezers pull it off. If it pops the siphon such suck up the majority of the spores. If you can remove the frag or rock and pull the bubble off outside the tank this is better. It can also grow back in the same spot so putting a little dab of superglue on the spot it was can help. Many people also say that emerald crabs will eat it, but I think it is hit and miss.
I had a file fish purchased to handle some aptasia. He didn't touch it until we lowered the feeding to 1 time per day, for the cleaner shrimp. After he did his job, we are back to 2. Tough love.Thanks. We have 4 emerald crabs. They haven't touched it. lol
I'll just remove the rock that it's on and manually remove it. I like the super glue idea. Thanks!
