What in the world is this?

I was searching for the new small cleaner shrimp when I noticed this under the aquascape. Any help? Tried all kind of ways to get the picture but looks like a mucus of sorts.

I was hoping someone would say sponge! I had a sponge I thought had died but maybe it just moved!
