What is a safe glass cleaning solution I can make

The owner of a small fishery once told me a solution he makes up to clean the tanks with that if it gets in the water it doesn't hurt anything I can't remember what it was I've been using Windex LOL :-( but now with rimless tank coming in and one already in the kitchen I am getting concerned with contamination using Windex

I typically clean my glass with a microfiber cloth moistened with a little RO water followed by wiping with a dry one and it works really well.. I will occasionally use something like windex but I apply a small amount directly onto a paper towel well away from tank and then carefully clean glass.

I use vinegar and water, or just straight vinegar in a small spray bottle.

I use RODI wet paper towels, enough to get all the salt dissolved. Then a dry paper towel. I like the result and no need for stink or chemical risk.

Always keep a spray bottle of white vinegar near my tank to clean what ever I need to on the aquarium

Meh, been using windex for deacdes. Just spray it on the cloth not at the tank.

I use just about any store bought glass cleaner.
Have been for decades also.
As stated, just spray on the cloth.

Thanks for all the ideas guys and gals I am a little paranoid of the Windex as I'm starting to put real money and corals into a rimless tank but think that white vinegar and water mix sounds about right I'll give that a try
