What is all over this emerald crab?

Looks like it's been awhile since it's molted and has some sponges that have started growing on it. I have no idea if that's good or bad or if there's some other reason the crab hasn't molted in awhile and the sponges are just incidental.

I’ve had it for a month or two, I bought it to take care of some bubble algae( took care of that). But your right, it hasn’t molted? I have shrimp that are not having any problem molting. Interesting!

I wouldn’t worry. Crabs molt much less frequently than shrimp. Just make sure it’s getting enough to eat. It looks to me like it is ready to molt, they get raggedly looking as they start loosening their shell.
