I am curious as to what is the best way to direct the water flow from my return pumps. I have them directed to the center of the tank very little to no surface action. Should they be directed more to the top of the reef, directly at the corals, or crisscrossed?

Would it be beneficial to add Aqua Gaget Spin flows to the return lines or add an addition water flow pump like a Koralia Nano 425 or both?

This is for a JBJ 28 gal tank.

I believe most hobbyists would suggest a "whirling" motion like a whirlpool, along with some surface agitation.
Each tank will be unique depending on size, rock work, aquascaping, livestock and specific coral needs, type and number of pumps, flow requirements etc...
And everyone may also have a different opinion depending on their specific tank needs and not allowing any dead spots of no flow.
