What is brick and mortar?

I've seen this term used (specifically the biota website) and I am wondering what is means, thanks!

Typically it refers to a store. Meaning a physical location, rather than an online store. A local fish store would be a fine example.

[Fish Fan]

"Brick and Mortar" means a physical Local Fish Store (LFS) that you can go to in person and buy whatever you need. As opposed to an online store that you can order from and needs to be delivered.
