So I keep noticing my hammer corals skeletons seem to be breaking down. Thought it was just damage from when I got them but noticed after a few months new areas appeared. They are bone white in parts that are missing. I currently have a Fox face and think he could be true culprit. Any thoughts? Thanks

What is your ph at? If your ph is to low the skeleton could start to dissolve

Calcium is low. What’s your mag

Foxface will nip at corals if its hungry. I lost a fat duncan to my last one. Once they get a taste for the coral they won't stop.

The only thing I wonder about is that he is not touching the meaty parts just the skeleton stalks.
