What is Everyone Dosing?

I use seachem reef builder (alk), red sea calcium+ powder, chaetogro, and red sea trace A (iodine and such) with the occasional trace B (potassium and such).

For food I dose brightwell koral amino, AF energy, my home grown phyto, and other foods.
Speaking on coral food only....Only a week into using but Red Sea reef energy AB+ is blowing reef roids outta the water! My frogspawn that refused to sprout any new heads/growth finally has a new lil knub growing and the polyp extension on all my corals are CRAZY! Nitrates and phosphates haven’t gone up at all either.

For Alk, Cal and Mag im dosing DIY chems -Randy,s recipe. Im also Dosing Tropic Marin's NP bacto balance, Pro coral elements A and Pro coral elements K. One or more of the last 3 is def making a difference in my corals colouration and growth, im not sure which though as i started dosing them at the same time. Think my system was trace element limited due to lack of water changes.

Kalk in the ATO and sodium bicarbonate via doser. I have an extra doser and am trying to decide between using it for AB+ or vodka/vinegar. I'm leaning towards the latter given AB+ will spoil over time if left unrefrigerated, but I'm not sure if one or the other would be more optimal dosed throughout the day.

How often are you dosing the AB+? I just got mine and wondering how often everyone is using it. Also I spot feed reef roids and frozen 2x-3x a week.

I dose bi-carb, Ca and Mg and do almost weekly changes with local ocean water. About 400 gallons and everything stays stable. Strictly softies. Never have much luck with SPS. Dkh 8.0, Ca 10.

I just installed a 6-channel dosing system for my reef tank. Currently, I am dosing Seachem's Reef Plus and Reef Trace every other day as well as Red Sea's NO3:pO4-X every day. Once I get more tubing in, I plan to add Seachem's Reef Fusion 2-part system for Calcium and Alkalinity as well as Reef Flowers' Coralline Algae Accelerator. That will fill up all six channels.

What is everyone else dosing? Is 6-channels enough? I was considering dosing RedSea's ABCD supplements as well as their AB+ coral nutrition, but that would take up 5 channels requiring an additional dosing system.

I have a feeling that Seachem's Reef Plus and Reef Trace are equivalent to RedSea's ABCD supplements as well as their AB+ coral nutrition, but I couldn't find anything online to confirm that.

I'm just getting started adding coral to my tank, so any help here is much appreciated...
I dose all for reef by tropic Marin. It’s an all in one dose. I have a nano tank so it’s cost and time efficient. But if you have a bigger tank it might get expensive. I also dose reef energy AB+. So far I’ve had stable conditions and great growth and color.

-ESV B ionic for years + Prodibio Biodigest with 50% water changes ~3-4 times/year (mixed reef with inverts/anemones)
-Just started dosing iodine based on ATI testing
-I also had to switch from Prodibio to Microbacter 7 since I could not find Prodibio Biodigest in stock.

i have a tank full off lps and a couple sps. I would never recommend doing what i do to anyone but i have found that a regimented water change and light feeding schedule aloows my tank to remain very stable. I use to test everyday and never had much of a fluctuation so i stopped. That's not to say that I don't randomly test here and there but its far and few between now. Anybody else out there do the same thing?

I only have a GSP, two zoas, a Kenya tree, and a green rhodactis mushroom in a 29 gallon tank and I also do not dose. I'd like more but I'm afraid of them attacking each other haha. All grow quite well and I've had to frag the zoas and GSP numerous times. I also used to test a lot but don't much anymore, though I do have a bit of an algae problem (weird green grassy type stuff but not "typical" GHA. It's easy to remove the little chunks with a tweezers but super tedious.) Tank is about 2.5 years old.

In the school of nothing. Once the ecosystem sets up it all takes care of itself. 100 pounds of rock and thirty pounds of sand in a 90g. Feed heavily. Nitrates 20. Phos 0.2. 25% water change every three to four weeks. Lot of turkey basting of rocks, sand, lot of build up of debris at base of zoa colonies. You can fully automate, not do water changes, never put hands into tank but that’s what’s fun in the hobby.

Sounds kind of... dirty. What kind of filtration do you have?

Eliminate algae by manual removal and aggressive turkey basting the rocks every three days to remove any detritus that becomes soil for the algae to grow on. Works every time

I was using ESV Bionic 2 part for my 100 gallon reef tank but I got tired of mixing and pouring in their large 4 gallon buckets. I just recently Went back to BRS 2 part plus magnesium. I like the 1 gallon pharma packs. Nice and simple. I also went back to weekly 10% water changes. I occasionally add some iodine.

dosing AB+ daily per instructions on bottle. I spot feed reef roids and or reef chili once a week (use polyp booster first).

I have a 30 gallon in my office that is lightly stocked. I change 10% of the water every week and my parameters are staying stable using Red Sea blue bucket salt. I don't dose in that tank, LPS only. My 100gallon mixed reef sucks up about .5 DKH a day, so I have to dose that tank.

Alk cal mag and polyp labs reef roids and polyp booster aminos
