What is going on here....

This guy was fine yesterday before I went to bed

. I was out today and came home about 6pm to find these marks on him? And what looks like a cut... (It doesn’t look like ich.)

That looks like a nasty injury to me. I’d remove the fish and give it an acriflavine bath, followed possibly by antibiotics for 14 days (metroplex, kanaplex, and furan 2).

The other school of thought is to leave it alone to heal on its’ own accord but that’s pretty serious IMO.
