What is going on with my Acan?!

Today is the 3rd day like this. No changes in the tank at all. All parameters stable. Nothing bothering it. No other corals having issues. Been in my tank for 10 months, growing like a weed.

It usually looks like this.

Why? What is wrong with it? Only dip I have available is CoralRX and H2O2.

No I do not target feed.

Most probable reason is infection. Second one is some parasite.

Do you dose kalwasser by chance. I know that if mine dumps anything but clear water in my tank my a cans do this. Something about it irritates them. I run a filter sock and they come back nicely. I have my kW go into a filter sock now to avoid this issue. I takes a couple days but then it will be fine. Also if you stir up the sand in your tank it can irritate them too. I didn't see anything in the photos that would make me think to go right to dipping it.

No Kalk dosing. Auto dose 2part. Guess I'll just leave it be. Hopefully it'll come around. It's possible it got hit with some hard flow while I was messing around with my Gyre, sand around it looks cleanly disturbed if that makes any sense-lol.

Update: Just left it alone and today it's pretty much back to normal. [emoji28]

that has happened to me with both acan lords and Bowerbanki. If it ever went longer than a couple days I'd probably do something, but they've always bounced back.
