What is going on with my decorator crab?

While looking at my tank this afternoon, I saw my decorator crab move one of its plates revealing a orange/red part. Does anyone know what is happening? (sorry for the low photo quality)

Can’t really see the pics but it sounds like she was releasing babies. Look up a video to compare what you saw; pretty sure that’s what she was doing.
