What is going on with my mushroom!?

I am still trying to get a decent picture of it, but I think I have had a mushroom splitting in the past week. Today I noticed that where its ‘mouth’ shoild be it lools like a tiny plate of spaghetti!

Is this normal, what is going on?

Went back to get another pic and it is completley gone! Im missing a Green Chromis...what are the chances?
