What is going on with my OG bounce

I imagine it's just the coral inflating and deflating. It should resolve spontaneously

By not knowing any of your parameters or any information about the tank; im assuming it is placed in a high flow or low/dead flow zone.

Any crabs or conch in the tank? Something that might be crawling on it?
What type of flow is it in?

Have you tried dosing strontium, sorry about the last comment I only seen the pic where the bounce was thriving
