I have no idea I’m new to this and it seems to be pretty happy the past few days

Are you feeding them? I had a similar issue with mine and alot of it was placement and types of food i was using. What kind of Palys are they?

Some do that depending on the light intensity or the color of light... more blue will bring out some great colors over time

So here may be too much daylight

I feed reef roids and frenzy once a week. However. Mine captures particles of food when feeding fish each morning. With that said, my palys looked like yours until I measured my available iodine. It was <.01 ppm. So dosed iodine until .06 ppm and those palys and all my zoas opened within 24 /48 hours. They all colored up and the palys went from 3 to 12 and smdoubled is size. Make sure your iodine levels are what seawater is; .05 to .06. I only have to dose 2 drops a week. I use brightwell iodine and test once a month with redsea pro....

Hmm the last time we tested iodine was about 3 days ago and it said .06 and we were using Red Sea the only thing we are confused about is dosing we are not sure how to do it we have a biocube 32 and not sure how much to dose our lfs said 1 drop a week but again we are not sure does this sound correct?

I have about 70 to 75 gallions in the system after rocks and sand. I found in my tank 2 drops a week is all I need to keep it at .06 with my coral load. I have like 150 zoas. Lps, mushrooms and one Birdsnest coral... I only change about .8 to 1 gallion new saltwater a day. Not sure what my new saltwater reads with iodine. However, if your adding 1 drop a week for your 36 gallion system and read .06 then your dialled in. I now only test for iodine about every 6 weeks to 8 weeks. Sounds like you got it dialed in to me ....

If your .06 and are not dosing then no dosing required. If you test in the future and it drops than add 1 drop and retest.
