Hello there

Seems like he/she is shedding. I also no longer see the green polyps. Yes water parameters are good. Is this coral croaked? Thanks to you all.

It's definitely not happy.

It's not croaked yet but it's definitely on its way.
I am going to ask the question, what are your parameters?
You're good might be different than my good that's why we ask. You're nutrients might be not good for your parameters that's why we ask.
What's your par? How long have you had the coral? Do you know anything about the system that came out of, IE, parameters and Par?

Had this coral for two years. The par is about 50 at the bottom of the tank.

I had that happen to a branching cyphastrea. I tried. I dipped it in ioding dip, baby talked it but it didn't work. I think my pistol shrimp finally took it into his cave to shore up his walls. It was just a small frag.

What are your parameters? I know you say they are good, but what are the numbers?
Full tank shot?
What about other coral in your tank? How are they doing?

The other corals are doing fine.

You really need to start pouring the numbers in.. we can’t guess what’s going on with your tank.

We need to know your parameters, trends, swings, tank history and pics to see where the pumps are located, and to possibly identify other things that may cause issues.

Otherwise, no one will be able to help you.

Thank you. Will do a ICP test. It could have been electrical so I change the power heads and heater. The HOB card is not in the water.

you want help but won’t give us the info to help you. We ask parameters, full tank pic, about other corals. Your responses are secretive and generic. Everything’s fine. Parameters are good.

When did you test last? If you tested last week you could be drastically different today

50 par is ridiculously low. Nobody would recommend an acro to be in 50 par

you should do all the water parameter tests and compare to the history of the last two years.

Might take 20 minutes to do the tests but it’s faster than mailing out for an ICP which is likely useless and takes over a week to get back.

That stick is as good as dead.

The bare spots will spread rapidly and / or algae will start to grow on them and then it will spread.

Only trying to help op in case they have other corals
