So I switch to saltwater a few months ago and I am loving it but today my tang don’t look so good he has last a lot of his color and it looks like he has spots on him all other fish look really good still don’t want to lose them all what should I do...

My ammonia is 0.02ppm and salinity is 1.025 nitrates are 0 my PH is 7.2 a little cloudy cause glass needs cleaned a little haven’t been done in a week

Are you sure your pH is 7.2? Thats too low for saltwater tank

I have a sun sun canister filter and my tank has been going for 5 months the temperature is 78.7

I believe the issue is water quality and canister is not enough to maintain the water quality you need as it is mechanical filtration offering little to no chemical filtration thereby acting as a nitrate factory.
You will need to clean it frequently to have it be effective means of filtration. Sun sun is a lower end Chinese unit and not designed for the demand your tank requires.
IS THAT BLACK AQUARIUM GRAVEL IN YOUR TANK ?
Are you using tap /faucet or RO WATER ?

It is black live sand from carb sea I got at petco I clean my filter once every 2 week what would be a good filter to buy without drilling my tank

HOB filter units and skimmer
Icecap K2-50 great skimmer also.
Most hang on back refugiums will be easy maintenance, effective filtering and waste breakdown with room for media, etc

How long have you had the fish? Something is stressing them. Your PH is very low although I don’t think that would cause the issue, but it likely would contribute. Has the tank been stable?

I agree you filter is not adequate and needs cleaning weekly. Clean in old tank water so as not to kill beneficial bacteria in it.
Ammonia needs to be zero. What test kit are you using?

What are you feeding your tang? It looks pretty skinny. I recommend at least twice a day with Nori and mysis soaked in selcon or other enriched vitamins for both feedings. It'll help boost it's immune system and give it a better chance in surviving the ich while you treat your tank.
