Can anyone help me figure out what this is? Tank is about a year and a half old. I'm afraid it might be dinos but it's not stringy. I used chemiclean thinking it was cyano but it did nothing to it. Under white lights it's brown. With blues, it looks like a dark red. when testing nothing is out of the ordinary except nitrates and phosphates being low. (which is why I suspect dinos). It also doesn't go away when lights are off.
Could dinos make my corals close up? It started off with my duncan. It's been a few weeks of it looking like this. I don't know what to do at this point

Looks more like diatoms to me. They will be feeding off silicates. Do you test your RO water regularly and change out the membrane/filters/DI resin on a frequent, or scheduled basis?
