Hello everyone! I have been battling something on my rocks lately. It started of with pineapple sponges which I didn’t mind but then this white fuzzy looking stuff started growing all on my rocks. In the begging it looked clear and fuzzy. Now it’s looking more brownish. I never run white lights and when I turned them on I was surprised on how the tank looked. I have attached some pictures. I set up a UV and I am currently running it. I had a bit of cyano a few weeks ago so I dosed chemiclean. The cyano went away and I did a water change 48 hours later. The water then was cloudy like a bacterial bloom. Once I put the uv it went away. Now this brown/ clear stuff is all on my rocks and I can not figure out what it is. I dosed fungi medicine it is in a pill I forgot the name but I can find in a second. The brown looking stuff is all on my rocks where light can hit so I think it’s photosynthetic. I’m scared it’s a fungal thing and I really want to beat this my corals don’t seem like they are dying but they haven’t been as opened lately.
