What is growing in that shell?

I just noticed something in an empty shell. The shell is in there for about 4 months. I have nothing similar in my Tank. It looks a bit like a mushroom but where should it suddenly come from?
Size is about 1cm.

From the pics it looks to be a discoma mushroom. They can hitchhike on frags, rock, etc.

I just realized that it looks like that discosoma I have. But it's on the other side of the tank. I wonder how that could happen ^^

Looks like a match. They can sprout babies and then they release and attach elsewhere in the tank.
