What is growing on my live rock?

I’ve had this tank cycling for about a week now and I just found these guys on my live rock, I think it’s some kind of coral? I’m not extremely sure. It also could be dead as well but I haven’t noticed a whole lot of growth.

They’re pretty hard they don’t move at all but they have little transparent fans that come out the top.

Update, they’re actually soft I went to go and touch it and it was easily moved around with my finger.

If so, feather duster worm. Beneficial filter feeder common in reef tanks. They spread a lot in new tanks then die off after a bit.

Other guess is vermetids, but you said they released a fan and were soft. Vermetids release a large mucus net and are hard as a rock.

Tube worms are hard as well, these are hydroids.

no it’s wet rock I’ve had it for about a week 1/2 now

I think there’s dead ones on my rock it looks like hollow little squiggles and it’s just about as hard as my rock is

Hydroids can spread and sting coral similar to aiptasia. The tube forming varieties can be a bit of a pain to get rid of. Your best bet is to dab some gel superglue on the ends of the tubes to smother them.
