What is growing on my Stylophora

Anyone knows what those spikes are on my Stylophora ? I had a tank crash about 2 months ago so some of my stylophora died. When it started growing back I noticed these spikes amoung the polyps, any ideas ?

Can you get a closer pic? They look like vermetid snails to me (or a similar tube creature). Those look like feeders coming out of the tubes.

They look like vermetids to me as well, my guess is they started encrusting on the underside where it took more time to grow back. I don't know if they can outcompete it or live in/overtop of live coral tissue, but the pairs of feeding hairs at the end of the tube definitely suggest vermetid to me.
