Where did you get this live rock? It looks like it is real ocean live rock, that from what I understand they don't sell anymore or it is very limited.
It looks like you have several types of algae growing on that piece of rock.
How old is your tank? Are you still in the cycle stage?

I bought the rock from a local aquarium store, they said it was from the Caribbean. I couldn't remember what they said the long purple tube, or the spotted orange and white thing that resembles the top of a mushroom were. The tank is 4 days old and was started with saltwater, live rock and live sand only but there is a feather duster worm some snails an urchin and several other strange living things that came with the rock. there is purple brown and orange algae growing in the tank, but the brown algae is going away quickly now and the purple seems to be spreading.
