What is happening to my BTA?

A couple of hours ago my nem looked good and I just walked in the house and went and looked at my tank and it looks horrible! Can anyone tell me what's going on?

I have had it for a little over a month but now it is starting to look normal again

That's normal with some BTAs. Either it ate something the day before, or it caught something to eat. Mine looks like that and then a big piece of **u know what** gets pushed out and it looks like that for another few hours before returning to it's normal state. I would only worry if you see that happening on a daily bases.

Yeah that's normal could be popping could be splitting wouldn't worry unless it stays like that for more than 3 days or it detaches from the rock
