the 3rd head in the picture that has died, a mushroom at the lfs and started to grow onto it and killed it before id had it.

Nice. Try to feed it meaty foods a few times a week when it shows feeder tentacles. Frozen mysis is my go-to. Hakari and PE are my favorites.

Candycanes are lps, most lps will be able to eat large meaty foods like mysis, chopped fresh seafood, etc.
