What is happening to my UC

These Zoas are Fairly new to the tank only about 5 days in here, but yesterday he fully closed with about 2 hours left in an 8 hr light cycle and now today I see this!? What’s going on here??

What color are the tentacles of the zoa? Thinking out loud here the bit that is sticking out is very similar in color and appearance to a zoa eating spider.
