What is happening to my Wall Hammer please?!

My Wall Hammer in the last 2-3 days seems to be melting away! It's desolved into a milky white slime? 75 gallon mixed reef. Nitrates 5...phosphate 0.02...mag 1450...cal...450...ph 8.3 alk 9.0dkh. My other wall and Branching hammers are fine as is the rest of my coral in the tank. Thanks for your time with this.

While a very challenging member of the euphyllia group, this one very stressed leading to recession
Some causes are:
Low calcium
Too much water flow
Too much light
Pests
Irritation from sand
High phosphate and/or nitrate

Any near by tank mates that can wage a chemical war with the hammer? Looks more like a burn because of the white dead flesh hanging on it than just melting away. I’ve personally noticed that when a hammer doesn’t like the water quality, flesh just peels off, flaps in the current & pops off intact still holding its natural color & form but never seen it turn white, that’s usually a burn from a near by coral. Some corals have some nasty sweeping tentacles that come out at night to ward off growing corals nearby. Even corals fight over territory. Could help others by listing neighboring corals.
