I’m about to lose my mind! I cannot figure out what is going on with my tank right now.

Parameters:
PH 7.8. A little low
Ammonia 0.0
Nitrite 0.0
Nitrate 0.0
Phosphate 0.0-0.25 ppm
Kh 143.2 ppm
Calcium 360 ppm
Mag 1280 ppm
SG 1.026

Tank is about 5 months old. Cycled and have livestock in there

2 clowns
Green clown goby
Yellow watchman
Royal gramma
Cleaner shrimp
Pistol shrimp
Snails and crabs

My sandbed is getting clumpy and when I stir it it comes off in small sheets (no hard but almost sticky). No discoloration either. I have stuff that looks like cob webs stuck to the sides and back and the sand on the rock comes off in sheets as well. I can’t fogure out what is going on

The pictures aren’t great. For some reason my Kessil lights always come out blue in pictures. If anyone has a suggestion on the pictures I’ll take new ones.

Even my saints and crabs shells are getting this sticky sand on them and it’s covering up their shells (in one pic).

I’m running a fluval HOB filter and an HOB skimz skimmer.

Someone help!

Could be normal new tank uglies. As your tank matures you're going to see algaes come and go. Are you using ro/di water for water changes and top off and how often are you doing water changes?

Yeah using RODI. Do about 5-10 gallons a week. Getting water from a LFS. I should probably test their RODI water....

Will the sandbed return to normal? I feel like it’s just getting worse...I’ve been cutting back on feeding to a little bit every other day.

I also have 3 mushrooms. 2 of which are going strong. The biggest one is getting all shriveled up and dying. Again not sure why.

My bubble tip anemone is also looking normal through all of this

Looks like it could be bacterial.....as Crabs stated, often part of the new tank maturation process. UV would help, otherwise you might just have to wait it out assuming your number all remain consistent.

Hmm what would be the best way to test if it is bacterial? Is there a way and what we some solutions to getting the tank healthy again and preventing it from happening in the future?

Man...there is A LOTTTTTTT to learn about in this hobby. I feel like everyday something new pops up that I find myself frantically researching haha. This is stressful ;Dead
