I picked up this algae from the frag. It is clear. It is soft. Can easily be torn off. But quickly grows back. What is it and what will eat it?

Plus, I have that leafy green algae growing on the Acan. I’ve been considering an emerald crab to keep it in check.

Thank you.

That looks more like sponge, manual removal is best with a soft brush. Not sure on the green algae.
In my limited experience I’ve never seen a fibrous/branching looking sponge. I keep removing and it keeps regrowing quickly. Will anything eat a sponge?

Sponge. Look closely and you'll see tube openings.
