That is aptasia. It's an invasive pest that can spread quickly and take over your tank. Get some peppermint shrimp and they will help control it.

You can use concentrated lemon or lime juice in a syring.....kalk in a syringe......of any of the commercial products.......or what I do - Boil a coffee cup or tank water in the microwave and then use a turkey baster to cook the little SOB's with a squirt or two.

+1...the peppermints I bought for the purpose didn't touch the weeds.
