Guys I came across a strange looking centrepeade looking thing in my life rock could this be a parasite

is it kinda hairy looking? Pinkish or gray? It's most likely a bristle worm. Dont touch it with your bare fingers, but it's harmless. Eats detritus from the sand and rocks.

More orange not really hairy it jus looked like a centrepeade can't get a pic at mo

in what way? urchins eat algae and coraline in some cases. Hermits eat algae and detritus. Urchins use "sucker feet" to climb rocks and walls with a central mouth that chews any food it comes across. Hermits have shells that they steal as they grow and use legs to walk around and claws to eat with. Not sure if that helped at all.
