I found this white thing crawling on my colt coral. I thought it was some kind of sponge. After removing it from the tank, it appears to be some kind of big nudibranch

Any idea what is it? Should I be worried about it?

Thank you.

Nudi probably feeding on the colt coral.

Thank you for confirming my thought.

I removed it. Is there anything I should be watching for? It was really big. About 1" long or more. Almost as big as my green chromis. I cant believe I did not see it before.

You can isolate the coral and do a dip. if possible. Sometime Wrasse and butterfly will eat them.

Looks like a monti eating nudi, if you don't have montis they will and need to starve themselves out, just got rid of mine

Monti nudi don't get that big and don't look like that.

It probably only eats colt coral. There will be eggs and probably more of them. I would toss the coral unless you want to do regular dips
