Looks like hair alage . I have used a syringe to spray hydrogen peroxide right on the algae and it usually dissolve away.I bought 8% food grade peroxide on amazon.

Gha what are your water parameters? Let’s work on why you have it and how you can get rid of it by taking care of the cause before we start dumping stuff into the tank.

It is good to know the parameters and things like that just for reference.
But if the tank is stable, corals and fish are healthy, and you just have a little bit of a nutrient problem; one turbo snail can usually make very short work of any hair algae.

nitrates- 2ppm
Phosphates- 0.1
ca-450ppm
mag-1350ppm
alk-9.3dkh
salinity- 1.025

I have a cheato reactor. it isn't an invasion, its just patchy and ugly. bought a dozen snails last night. going to get another dozen in a few days if these don't make much of a dent.

all corals including acros are healthy and growing... fish are healthy too... tank is a year old jbj45. the tank is Very stable... just would like to get it cleaned up a tad.
